DS-KSMET08

Hikvision DS-KSMET08 is an expansion board for up to eight RJ11 ports on DS-KS6160 or DS-KS6170 SIP servers. It accommodates up to four appropriate telephony modules; FXO, FXS, BRI and mobile-module choices have different roles. Confirm the host, existing board positions and required line types; a bare board is not a ready-to-use set of eight identical telephone circuits.

Supported hosts: The exact datasheet names DS-KS6160 and DS-KS6170. It does not establish DS-KS6150 compatibility or a standalone telephone system.

Capacity and interface selection

Module population: Up to four telephony modules, serving up to eight RJ11 ports, are described. A bare board is not eight preconfigured FXS, FXO or BRI circuits.
Required telephony modules: The board must be used with the suitable FXO, FXS, BRI, 4G or GSM modules. Module choice determines the relevant line function; parts are not assumed included.

Host expansion-board positions: The guide allows one DS-KSMET08 or DS-KSMETE1 board in DS-KS6160, and up to two such boards in total in DS-KS6170. DSP modules have separate limits; do not fill every separate maximum at once.
