JVA electric fence energisers, monitors and accessories
JVA security electric fence systems put a monitored high-voltage pulse on perimeter wires and raise an alarm when the fence is cut, shorted or climbed. This page explains the parts that make up a JVA installation on this site: energisers, zone monitors, keypads, network interfaces and the insulators, cable and hardware between them.
What this range covers
- Security energisers for single and multi-zone fences
- Zone monitors and keypads
- Network, GPIO and cellular interface boards
- Under-gate cable, lightning diverters, earth stakes and earth loops
- Insulators, strainers, tensioners, clamps and ferrules
- Warning signs and fence wire
Typical applications
- Factory and warehouse perimeters
- Bungalows and gated communities
- Farms, plantations and solar farms
- Telecom and utility compounds
Key capabilities
- Monitored pulses that detect cuts and shorts
- Zoning so an alarm names the section of fence
- Integration with alarm panels and CCTV through outputs and network boards
- Lightning protection at the energiser
- Low-voltage operation on listed models for daytime deterrence
Functions vary by model and firmware; see each model page and the official datasheet.
Selection questions
- How long is the perimeter and how many zones should it have?
- Will the fence stand alone on a wall, or be a free-standing fence?
- Which alarm panel, CCTV or monitoring platform must receive the alarm?
- What earthing is possible at the energiser position?

Describe your requirementFrequently asked questions
Is a security electric fence legal in Malaysia?
Security electric fences are used widely in Malaysia. Installation should follow the manufacturer's instructions and local requirements for signage and earthing; confirm with the installer and local authority.
What is the difference between an energiser and a monitor?
The energiser produces the pulse; a monitor watches one zone of fence and reports its state. Multi-zone energisers combine both for several sections.
Does ISD publish JVA specifications?
This site lists the JVA parts with reference pages. Detailed configuration and the project bill of materials are provided on enquiry.
